Debts follows Saffron Lavigne, born, raised, and expecting to die toiling away in the depths of sector Theta-Seven, one among thousands bred to work for Deliverance LLC.'s nutrient paste factory.

In the depths of the hive city of Nostra Salvator, everyone toils to stay one step ahead of insolvency and repossession by the megacorporations that own them. What, then, is Saffron to do when the factory she earns her daily Credits from burns down in a freak accident?

Arrested by faceless Peacekeepers, she has but one hope to retain her free will: to sell herself into the ownership of a sponsor. Yet the fate in store for her might well leave her regretting accepting the deal...

The story will contain feigned niceness, body control, ownership themes, and lots of delicious, delicious cruelty.
